  The Kwara State Government has disclosed that the Kwara Agro-Climatic Resilience in Semi-Arid Landscapes (ACReSAL) Project will address climate challenges, boost food security and improve the socio-economic lives of Kwarans. The State Project Coordinator, Kwara ACReSAL Project, Alhaji Shamsideen Olatunbosun Aregbe, stated this while featuring on a live radio  interactive programme in Ilorin, the State Capital.   In line with the implementation of the Component C of the Agro-Climatic Resilience in Semi Arid Landscape (ACReSAL) project which aims at strengthening Institution and Project Management, His Excellency, Governor AbdulRazaq AbdulRahman of Kwara State has commissioned and presented keys of 3 Toyota Hilux to the 3 ACReSAL core Ministries in the State.  The exercise took place during the week at the Kwara State Government House, Ilorin the State capital. ACReSAL is a World Bank assisted project with the mandate to address challenges of land degradation and climate change in the 19 Northern States, including the FCT and Kwara State. Speaking during the commissioning, Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq commended the effectiveness of the project in the State, reiterating that the vehicles will accelerate the implementation across different communities.
